ECI Telecom’s Edge Router Platform
Selected by Missouri-Based River City Internet Group
. Provides unmatched range of
IP and MPLS-based services from a single platform –
PETAH TIKVA, ISRAEL, October 11, 2005 -
ECI Telecom (NASDAQ: ECIL) today announced that River City Internet
Group has selected ECI’s ST™200 edge router platform
to consolidate its switching, routing and subscriber management.
ECI’s solution will enable River City to cost-effectively
evolve beyond basic Internet services to revenue boosting, added-value
services such as voice over IP, video-on-demand and IP VPNs. This
service edge router from ECI’s Data Networking Division is
the only edge router that supports all carrier packet services
in a single platform.
River City selected ECI’s broadband
platform based on the ST200’s
high bandwidth-per-subscriber, advanced QoS, carrier-class availability;
integrated routing and switching features that are crucial for
complete and reliable broadband service delivery. The ST200’s
platform scalability and flexibility will support River City Internet
Group’s current needs as well as future growth in capacity
and services across multiple access technologies.

with ECI’s excellent implementation support, helped seal

As part of this new deal, River City will deploy
ECI’s ST200 series including the 8-port OC-3 card, 12-port
channelized DS-3 card and the 4-port gigabit Ethernet card, plus
enhanced provisioning and customer support services.
